Our Founder and CEO
The Founder and President Ambassador Arikana Chihombori-Quao MD was born and raised in Africa and has lived in the US for over 40 years. She practiced medicine in the US for 30 years before being asked to be the African Union Ambassador to the United States. In this role, she represented all the 55 African countries in the Americas and was exposed to the inner workings of not only the African governments but also governments in the Americas. As a medical doctor, she worked and took care of American patients from all walks of life. She understands both the United States and Africa very well. She is committed to using this vast knowledge and understanding of both continents to bridge the gap between Black people in America and their brothers and sisters in Africa. Africa’s wealth belongs to all her children in Africa and abroad. Dr. Chihombori is committed to paving the way for the Afro-descendants around the world to not only access what is due to them in the US but also in Africa.
About Foxworth Consulting
Over 400 years ago, the children of Africa were forcibly taken out of their homeland across the Atlantic onto the Americas and beyond. They were stripped of not only their humanity but also their dignity. In addition to many centuries of unimaginable cruelty, after attaining their freedom in 1865, systems were put in place to permanently deny them economic liberation to this day. This organized and systemic denial of economic liberalization has led to the total and complete destruction of the Black family for centuries. It has caused generational mental emotional and physical anguish that will take generations to heal from. This is indeed a shameful chapter in the history of mankind. Those who benefitted from slavery have a moral responsibility to economically empower the Black community through not only facilitation of access to wealth, but also removing the roadblocks within the systems that have hindered their progress. It is the just, fair, and right thing to do. Foxworth Consulting is supremely qualified to play a role in bridging this gap.
